Question of the Week

[Use this Question of the Week to make up any missed blogs. Write 100 words for each day of blog credit you wish to receive.]

Question:
This headline appeared in the Sunday (5/19/2008) Sacramento Bee newspaper: Underaged Prostitutes Marketed on Internet. The full story is at this URL: http://www.sacbee.com/101/story/947617.html
There are lots of technology and ethical questions associated with this issue. The questions to which you might respond are: Has the Internet made illegal and unethical activities easier? Should the Internet be patrolled to prevent illegal activity that is also unethical? Should the police be able to seize your computer and inspect your hard drive to see if you have been engaging in illegal activity -- or do you have a total right to privacy in your home?
